San Diego, California

Stanley had a short trip to San Diego.
He was most excited about his trip to the
San Diego Wild Animal Park.

First up,
Stanley got to see
a California Condor.

Look at the wingspan on that big bird!

Stanley also saw some ostrich eggs.

The eggs that he posed with aren't real,
but it does give you an idea of how big
real ostrich eggs are!

Stanley learned that
a giraffe's markings
are like fingerprints

. . . no two are exactly alike!

The ocapi have stripes on the back half of their body.

Even though you might think they are related to zebras,
they are really a member of the giraffe family.

Stanley wanted to get a closer look
at the baby rhinoceros,
but decided that it was best
to stay away from protective mama.

Ever the clown,
when Stanley saw these statues
he wanted to remind everyone
of what happens when you get
too close to an elephant!
