2000 Olympics

Some friends told Stanley that he was going on a surprise trip.
You can imagine his surprise when Stanley got to go the
Track and Field Events at the 2000 Olympic Games!



 

Stanley's 
first stop
was at 
this hillside
which was marked with
the 
Olympic circles.

 
 
 
 Next, it was off to find
theTrack and Field events.

There were thousands of people!
 

 
 
 
 
Stanley got to meet people
who had come from all over the world
to cheer on their country during the events.   

 
 
 Stanley decided 
to get to the stadium early.

When he arrived, 
there were still 
many empty seats . . .
 

 
 
 
 . . . but by the time the games began
there wasn't an empty seat to be found!
